Phillip Roth

Phillip is a Chartered Accountant and member of both Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ) and the Institute of Directors (IoD). In 2003, he received the National Award for the Young Chartered Accountant of the Year and in 2021 formally received recognition as a Fellow of CA ANZ.

Living in Christchurch, Phillip’s expertise is in Governance, Strategy and Business Development for both commercial and Not-for-Loss enterprises. He is very committed in supporting quality governance and decision making processes. Today Phillip provides ongoing Director, Chair and Advisory Board support to a wide range of focus areas and sectors including Māori business and mentoring, forestry and transport, civil engineering and construction, fishing, manufacturing and supermarket owner/operators.

More than ever in business and organisational life, Phillip believes there is a greater need to ensure qualitative and robust governance processes are in place and monitored – the benefits simply cannot be underestimated.

In his down time Phillip likes to enjoy New Zealand’s amazing outdoors with whānau and friends – pursuits include ultra-running, fly fishing and hunting for conservation. Phillip is an active member of Grace Vineyard Church including the Property Development team.
