Given the COVID-19 situation, your continuing professional development (CPD) may not be top of mind. But we do know that our members value learning and like to stay on top of governance issues and the current situation actually crystallises the importance of staying current.

We appreciate that at this time it may be more viable to stay up-to-date via online learning and reading and with that in mind we have increased the annual limit on reading for 2020 to a maximum of 20 points.

Your readings could include Boardroom magazine articles, The Four Pillars of Governance Best Practice, Governance Leadership Centre content such as Directors Briefs and Governance Updates, and governance articles in other journals and publications.

The IoD is also looking to deliver more content online so watch this space – and remember to check out our existing webcasts, online courses and other digital offerings developed for members.
