Our cover story touches on the first of those associated votes: the decision on whether or not to legalise cannabis. The second of the referenda is on the ratification of the End of Life Choice Act. If ratified, the Act will present new governance questions to the boards of medical organisations. We hear from Te Omanga Hospice’s Michele McCreadie on what her board has been considering in the run up to voting.
