DAVID WALSH B.CA, FCA.

David is currently the Chief Executive Officer of NZ Post Group, a position he has held since May 2017. Prior to that, he was the Chief Financial Officer from February 2015.

Over David’s career, he has worked with a wide range of organisations experiencing change, including businesses with complex infrastructure, consumer products and services, and has led large scale, complex projects. His previous roles include GM Corporate and Finance at KiwiRail, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at the New Zealand Racing Board, and senior finance roles at Fonterra and TransAlta.

David is currently a Board member of the International Postal Corporation and Tatua Co-operative Dairy Company Limited. In addition to being a part of the Tatua Board, David is Chair of the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee. His previous governance roles include Kiwi Group Holdings and Kiwibank.

He is also a member of the CEO Climate Leaders Coalition Steering Group and Champions for Change.
