Kerrie-Lee Magill

Kerrie-Lee is a Chartered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.  She holds degrees in law and economics and has extensive experience as an in-house lawyer across a range of corporates in New Zealand and London including as General Counsel for the media company Stuff.

Kerrie-Lee has experience with fast-growing digital businesses and start-ups as well as holding a number of governance roles in this space. Kerrie-Lee has recently spent time working as commercial consultant in the public sector, including at Kanoa – Regional Economic Development & investment Unit, MBIE. She is Independent Chair of the Governance Board of the Advertising Standards Authority, a platform-neutral industry regulator for advertising self-regulation and has recently joined Spark in a legal role.

Kerrie-Lee is mother to three university students and shares her empty nest with husband Iain and three badly behaved cats. She practices yoga regularly and recently trained as a yoga teacher to deepen her knowledge and practice.  She is also a keen walker and traveller.
