Jane is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors and was awarded a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to governance in 2012.
With a commercial background in law, insurance broking, financial markets and market research, Jane has also gained experience and knowledge over the past 30 years with governance roles in private sector commercial, crown, Iwi and not for profit governance. Her current roles include Chair of Unimed and director of Naylor Love Construction, Te Kaha (Christchurch Stadium build), Pegasus Health, Nurse Maude, Paenga Kupenga and the Canterbury Cricket Trust. Jane also engages in a number of other governance related activities from time to time.
Being Ngāi Tahu, Jane affiliates to Ngāi Tūāhuriri and participates in her Marae in North Canterbury at Tuahiwi.
