Catherine McMillan

CMInstD, FCA, BCom (Hons), DipTchng

Catherine is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow Chartered Accountant. She has experience in the public sector, corporate business and education, both in senior management and governance roles.  Her consultancy business focuses on governance services, director training, strategy development and business re-structuring.

She has held governance roles in a variety of organisations and, amongst others, is currently an Independent Board Member for New Zealand Young Farmers and a trustee with CORE Education Charitable Trust, CSO Foundation and Te Kōhaka o Tūhaitara Trust.

Catherine believes that effective governance decision-making contributes to the overall success of the organisation. Good governance takes a broad view of success, ensuring good culture and a long-term view of sustainability.

During her downtime, Catherine enjoys getting out into the rural environment and loves learning and trying new things.
