Join us for this live-stream event providing insights for cyber intelligence and fraud literacy in our rapidly changing world.
Increasing digital dependency is amplifying the risk of cyber-attacks and opening doors to issues relating to service disruption, fraud and data privacy. Only 35% of directors in the 2020 IoD Director Sentiment Survey said their boards had the right capabilities to lead their organisation’s digital future.
Due to COVID-19, criminal trends and the increased reliance on digital and cloud capabilities, it is important organisations understand what’s happening with attacks and attackers globally and here in NZ. It is critical organisations build true muscle memory for cyber resilience.
Deloitte partners Anu Nayar (National Leader – Cyber) and David Seath, (Partner - Risk Advisory) will join us via live-stream from Dunedin to share their insights to bust common myths and equip you to govern and foster cyber intelligence and fraud literacy in the rapidly changing world our businesses operate in today.
Anu is a Partner and leads Deloitte’s Cyber, Privacy and Resilience practice nationally. He brings over 20 years’ experience within mission-critical organisations in the USA and New Zealand. He is a trusted advisor to many public sector C-suite teams and coaches and mentors senior leaders across the nation. Anu has developed the cyber strategy and operating models, and led the delivery of cyber transformation and solutions for government, financial services, critical infrastructure and iconic kiwi organisations. David is a Partner and leads Deloitte’s Risk Advisory practice in the South Island – he has been based in Christchurch since 2016 and lived in Dunedin prior to that.and is based in Christchurch. He has spent the last 25 years conducting a mix of fraud investigation and prevention assignments so he know what makes fraudsters tick and importantly also knows the environments within organisations that allow fraud to occur. David has been in New Zealand since 2004 and has led a number of high profile fraud investigations locally, including the Citifleet fraud at DCC.
