An hour-long morning tea discussion involving a group of no more than 10 members lead by a chair with specialist knowledge of the topic at hand.
Boards have a critical role to play in taking action on climate-related issues and reducing the environmental impact of their organisations. Mandatory reporting of climate-related financial disclosures is just around the corner and now is the time to be getting your house in order. But what does that mean and how do we do this well?
This Director Discussion will be chaired by Katrina Kidson who is a connector for the Sustainable Business Network in Nelson and also leader of the local Business for Climate Action group. She will be joined by Michael Stocker, a senior associate at Knapps Lawyers, who is part of many climate groups including Lawyers for Climate Action and Business for Climate Action.
The group will be limited to 10 attendees with the emphasis being on sharing ideas and expertise in a roundtable discussion that involves everyone present. Coffee and a light morning tea will be supplied.
