Overview

There are a growing number of companies that no longer use budgets. In this presentation we examine what it means to move beyond budgeting by examining the critical need many companies have to be adaptive to their volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) environments.

Associate Professor Chris Akroyd will  synthesize insights from the beyond budgeting principles using the case of a New Zealand company to show how organisations can enhance their governance through changes to their management structure and control processes.

This interactive discussion-style event will be capped at 15 attendees. Whether you are completely new to the topic or have years of relevant experience, you will be encouraged to ask questions and actively contribute your perspective.
