Overview

A snapshot of what governance looks like for Ngāi Tahu. What are the aspects of the legislative framework and working with mana whenua that directors need to know about?  How can directors build the relationships they need to ensure good governance and be mindful of cultural courtesies?

Jane will share her perspectives on iwi and Ngāi Tahu governance as well as her own experiences from her many years in governance.

Fireside chats are story-based, small group events where questions and discussion are actively encouraged. Due to the potentially sensitive nature of matters discussed, the Chatham House Rule will apply.  Numbers are strictly limited.  Due to demand this is the second session on this topic.
