I’m best known for my involvement in the graphic design and advertising industry. This includes being responsible for the formation and management of two of Wellington's leading agencies: Origin Design Company and BNA Design (now DNA Design). It’s been an amazing journey!

I was one of the founders of Origin Design and managing partner/director for over sixteen years. During this time, we built what is now considered by industry insiders to be a benchmark business. When Origin was sold to Insight Creative in January 2010, it was a wonderful and timely opportunity to resign my day-to-day role whilst enjoying a continued and entirely different involvement on the board of the combined company. But I wasn’t ready to rest on my laurels – I love the challenge of creating and innovating, hence my new business Syro Communications. Syro is a communications project management company specialising in the management of all types of communications projects – design, marketing, advertising and interactive.

Prior to Origin, I was founder/director of what was then BNA Design, with responsibility for operations, systems and finance, and prior to that with one of the Clemenger Group agencies where my remit included financial management and client service. I’m a member of the Institute of Directors.
