    Richard is a commercial lawyer with expertise across several jurisdictions.  He has expertise across technology, privacy, media, IP and commercial law.

    He advises clients on issues arising at all stages in product lifecycles and supply chains, is an expert draftsperson and legal trouble shooter.  Richard is sought after to help establish new ventures, to commercialise technology and use data, in New Zealand and overseas.

    As well as his core practice, with a background in commercial law, Richard is recognised as a leading Sports and Events lawyer.  He is involved in sports and events governance – as Chair of the Elite Selection Panel for Triathlon New Zealand and previously as Deputy Chair of the New Zealand Events Association 2016-8.
