The future of work
Our workplaces are changing rapidly. The impact of technology, evolving skills needs and skills shortages, changing demographics and employee expectations are all impacting in the workplace.
Boards have a role in strategic talent management, including oversight of retention, workplace culture and people management, capacity and succession planning. Boards need to be future focused to anticipate and respond to the changes that are coming. Has your board considered what will the future of work look like?
Join us as Mark Verbiest discusses his views on the future of work.
Please note this event starts at 11.30am.
Mark is a Chartered Fellow of the IoD who is Chairman of Freightways, Willis Bond Capital Partners, and director of ANZ Bank New Zealand, Meridian Energy, and the Advisory Board to NZ Treasury. Mark was one of the founding members of the FMA and is former chair of Transpower, and retired as Chairman of Spark New Zealand Limited at the end of last year.
