PHIL VEAL MInstD
Phil Veal is the Managing Director and co-founder of ForthCo, a private investment firm backing enduring, profitable businesses in New Zealand. He currently sits on the boards of Natural Habitats, New Zealand Mint, Skyline Healthcare, and Wells, and is actively involved with ForthCo’s investment in Phoenix Recycling Group.
Previously CEO of Rangatira Investments, Phil also led the global expansion of management consultancy PIPC, culminating in its acquisition by Cognizant. Earlier, he worked as a civil engineer on major infrastructure projects in Europe and Asia.
Phil is a judge for New Zealand’s Hi-Tech Awards. He was a founding director of Chapter Zero for the Institute of Directors, Chair of Magic Memories, and led the acquisition of Hellers with Adamantem Capital. As former Global Chair of Kea, he worked with Sir Stephen Tindall to build a network of over one million offshore New Zealanders.
He holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Canterbury and a postgraduate certificate in Investment Banking from NYU.
