Reremoana Hammond (Ngāti Kahungunu ki Te Wairoa, Moriori, Rongowhakaata, Ngāti Ruapani) is a seasoned governance leader and stakeholder engagement practitioner with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She currently serves as Deputy Chair of the Board at Child Cancer Foundation, where she brings a wealth of governance and lived experience to the organisation’s vision of supporting children and whānau on their child cancer journey.
Reremoana sits as a Director on Te Hononga o Ngā Awa Trust Limited, a post-treaty settlement entity dedicated to supporting future generations of Wairoa tamariki and rangatahi to have the skills and resources they need to thrive.
Reremoana’s governance journey is underpinned by over a decade of experience in emergency management, along with her current work in the regulatory environment. Her multidisciplinary background enables her to navigate complex systems and advocate for inclusive, community-focused outcomes.
