BOWEN PAN

Bowen Pan has built and scaled products at the intersection of technology and global markets. He created Facebook Marketplace, now used by over a billion people worldwide, and has led major initiatives at Trade Me, Facebook Gaming, Stripe, and Common Room.

After more than a decade in the US, Bowen returned to Aotearoa with his young family to bring that experience to New Zealand’s boardrooms, founders and operators.  He is an independent non-executive director on the board of NZME – publisher of the NZ Herald, Newstalk ZB, and OneRoof – and sits on the advisory board of the University of Auckland Business School. Bowen also advises venture-backed start-ups, corporates, and investors on designing products, scaling internationally, and competing to win.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Property from the University of Auckland, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
