1. Networking and Events
The IoD has six branches based in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch and Dunedin – which host regular networking events including eminent guest speakers.
- Eminent national and international guest speakers address members and their guests at keynote events - providing members with a unique opportunity to listen and network with influential people. To see a list of upcoming events from around New Zealand click here.
- The branches offer activities tailored to the needs of specific member groups, such as fellows, new members, aspiring directors or senior directors.
- Each year around 4500 members and their guests attend more than 80 branch events held in the five major population centres, as well as Tauranga, Napier, New Plymouth and Queenstown.
- Members attend branch functions at a lower cost than non-members.
- Members receive a monthly newsletter, which provides details of upcoming member events in their area.
