5. Meeting Facilities
Members are entitled to the complimentary use of meeting facilities in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin as well as the United Kingdom Institute of Directors’ premises in London.
Central Wellington
The national office occupies a spacious area on the second floor at 88 The Terrace. A 14-seat boardroom, two six-seat meeting rooms and a work area with e-mail and Internet access are available to members who may book meeting facilities at no charge for up to 10 times a year. Catering can be arranged, if required, but at the user’s cost.
A library contains the IoDs’ publications, relevant overseas magazines and periodicals along with daily and weekly newspapers.
Central Auckland
The Auckland Club offers a complimentary room to members for up to two hours, subject to availability. Computer equipment is complimentary, as are tea and coffee. Other facilities are available at the user’s cost.
Christchurch
The George Hotel offers members complimentary meeting facilities in an accommodation room or conference room for up to three hours, twice a month.
Complimentry room hire and non-electrical equipment for cocktail functions or dinners are also available to groups of 40+.
Dunedin
The Dunedin Club offers members complimentary meeting facilities for up to 10 times per year.
IoD Pall Mall
The IoD in the UK offers full club facilities in central London. A reading room, library, work stations, public meeting rooms, private meeting rooms and restaurants are available to members.
