    George is an independent company director and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is a former CEO of Coca-Cola Amatil New Zealand, finance director of British Telecom Northern Ireland and Group Finance Director of Molino Beverages Group. He is also Chairman of both the Occupational Health Advisory Group, an expert panel that advises WorkSafe on Occupational Health strategy and the Business Leaders Health and Safety Forum.

    George is passionate about improving New Zealand’s health and safety record and in 2014 he chaired the Independent Forestry Safety Review which delivered a report on practical recommendations to improve the industry’s safety record. At the 2013 Safeguard Workplace Health and Safety Awards George was awarded the “New Zealand Leader of the Year Award”, and his work at Coca-Cola Amatil was a noted case study in the IoD’s 2013 publication Good Governance Practices Guideline for Managing Health and Safety Risks.

    Mike is a partner in CosmanParkes, a new specialist health and safety consultancy. He has experience working with boards including private companies, SOE and other Crown bodies, particularly around the implications of the new 'due diligence’ obligations and how to build assurance frameworks around workplace risks. Mike is one of the most experienced health and safety practitioners in NZ having worked in this field for 35 years. Coming from a senior regulatory background with international experience, Mike offers strategic insights into the broader context within which business operates – particularly in relation to the important roles of executive management and governance in driving improved H&S performance. Mike was a member of the Independent Taskforce on Workplace Health and Safety set up post Pike River and is currently a member of the Independent Forestry Safety Review. Mike is a Chartered Member of IOSH and holds a BSc in Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in OHS.
