    Geoff is a Chartered Fellow of the IoD and chair of the IoD’s Otago Southland Branch Committee. Geoff is chair of Dunedin Casinos Limited, Taieri Gorge Railway Limited, Larnach Castle Limited, Otago Chapter of the Property Council of New Zealand, and Principals Advice and Support Limited, a director of Fund Managers Holdings Limited and a Trustee of Otago Third Age Trust.

    Anna has been a member of the Otago Southland Institute of Directors since 2011. She is a Board member of Grow Dunedin, an executive member of Ag@Otago (University of Otago) a technical committee member for Powerhouse Ventures, a Trustee for Otago Boys’ High School and holds committee and team management roles within the Dunedin Junior Cricket Association and the Otago Boys’ High School Cricket Club.

    Alan is a Chartered Fellow of the IoD and has been a partner in the legal practice of AWS Legal and its predecessors in excess of 30 years. Raised and educated in Dunedin, he relocated to Invercargill in 1979 and to support the majority of his legal practice shifted permanently to Queenstown in 2004. Current directorships include being chair of The Power Company Limited, director of Powernet Limited and a member of the governing committee for the Otagonet Joint Venture.  He also chairs and is a director of other private companies. Past directorships have included being chair of the Lawlink Group Limited, AWS Legal Board, the Highlanders Super franchise and other companies in the finance and construction industries.

    Stuart is a Chartered Fellow of the IoD and a Past President. He is a chartered accountant, partner of GS McLauchlan & Co, and a fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is currently chairman of Scott Technology Ltd, PHARMAC, UDC Finance Ltd and Dunedin International Airport Ltd, as well as being a director of Ngai Tahu Tourism Ltd and a number of private companies. He is also pro-chancellor at the University of Otago and governor of the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame.

    Alistair is the managing director and owner of L M Wright and Company Ltd, a role he has held since 1965. He is the deputy chairman of The Dunedin Diocesan Trust Board, and is a director of Earl Street Charitable Trust board and several small private companies. Alistair previously held roles as the deputy chair of the John McGlashan College Board and chairman of Grants Braes School. He is a member of the Dunedin South Rotary Club and the Bishop’s warden of St Barnabas Church, Warrington. Alistair is a Chartered Fellow of the IoD and has been a member of the Otago Southland Branch committee since 1987.

    Kathryn is a self employed consultant, principally to McIntyre Dick & Partners Ltd, Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, based in Invercargill, where she was a partner/principal for around 20 years. She remains part of the MDP tax specialist team and also provides business advice to a wide range of clients. Kathryn is a director of SBS Bank, a position she has held since 2006. She chairs the banks Audit & Risk Committee. She served for a number of years as a Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) Councillor, chairing the Audit & Finance Committee and serving a period as deputy chair. She was involved with SIT at the time the innovative “Zero Fees” scheme was introduced.  She is also a past chair of the Southland Branch of what was then the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (now CAANZ) and past Chair of the Tax Committee of the Southland Branch of NZICA. She was made a Fellow of CAANZ in 2013, and is a chartered member of the IOD, serving on the branch committee since 2014.

    Kathy has wide legal experience having taught in the Faculty of Law at the University of Otago and been in practice at Gallaway Cook Allan for the last 20 years. She has had extensive experience in the governance of educational institutions having previously chaired the Dunedin College of Education, served on the University of Otago Council and currently chairs the Otago Polytechnic Council. Kathy also has significant governance experience in the commercial sector as a current member of the boards of Dunedin City Holdings Limited and Dunedin City Treasury Limited. She is Commissioner of the Southern District Health Board and she also sits on a number of boards in the not-for profit sector. Kathy has been a member of the Institute of Directors since 2009 and she delivers locally led sessions of the Dunedin Governance Development Programme.

    Pat was a partner of Deloitte for 30 years working with a number of boards and audit committees of listed companies, other issuers, private companies and public sector entities.

    He is now a director and independent consultant based in Dunedin.

    Pat is a director of Port Otago Limited, Forsyth Barr Custodians Limited and a member of the New Zealand Auditing and Assurance Standards Board. He is also financial adviser to a number of private companies and provides expert litigation support services to the legal profession.

    He is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and a former chairman of the Otago branch committee of that organisation.

    Pat is a Chartered Member with IOD and has been on the Otago Southland Branch committee since 1997.

    Trish joined Forsyth Barr Ltd in March 2000 where she is Head of Summer (Forsyth Barr’s KiwiSaver scheme). Trish has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, having previously worked in the banking sector in a variety of management positions. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago and completed our Governance Development Programme in 2012. Trish is a former Chairperson of Tourism Dunedin. She is a director of Dunedin International Airport Ltd and a trustee of the Royal New Zealand Ballet and Dunedin Casino Charitable Trust. Trish was recently appointed as a director of University of Otago Foundation Studies Limited along with being a member of the Otago Southland IoD Branch Committee.

    Duncan is a Queenstown based Chartered Accountant who has strong links across the Central Otago and Southland areas. He has particular expertise in advisory, strategic planning, and business acquisitions and sales. As well as his busy accountancy role, Duncan has considerable governance experience. His earlier board roles include Pioneer Generation Ltd, Queenstown Airport Ltd, and Goldfields Jet Ltd. Duncan’s current governance roles are with PowerNet Ltd, The Power Company Ltd, OtagoNet JV, Southern Generation LP and the Walker Group of Engineering Companies. Duncan has held the latter role for many years, working closely with the late Bill Walker since 1985. Focused to seek continuous improvement, Duncan completed the week-long Company Directors’ Course in 2012 and has since completed courses on Audit and Risk Committees as well as three Boards in Action courses, including ‘Leadership in the Boardroom’. He is an enthusiastic supporter of the branch.
